Keeping the public on the correct footpaths helps prevent habitat destruction and also helps people to navigate the nature reserve! No experience is necessary to take part and full training is provided on the day. It is advisable to consider wearing clothes that protect you from the elements and to mitigate against any likely hazards from working outdoors e.g. sturdy footwear ideally with steel toe caps. First aiders will be present on the day. As we are working outdoors, toilet facilities may not always be available. More details about the task are posted on our website and social media channels a week prior along with instructions on how to book your place.
